A while back, I participated in a contest for the first time. I didn't expect to really place, and well... I did as I expected. In addition to that, I offered to donate a sketch to one of the winners.

And this is the sketch. ~LauraRamirez was the winner who chose to have me do my interpretation on one of her dragons or creatures. I chose this: [link] as my main inspiration. It was really different, and I'd never seen that sort of thing before, and I really liked it. :D Hopefully she enjoys it, as it was a lot of fun (although challenging) to make.

Done in mechanical pencil, grey Prismacolor (40% mostly), white charcoal, and White acrylic. It's in greyscale because the scanner didn't like to show the white bits when the cream colored paper was left to show.

I welcome your feedback and constructive criticism. I've come a long way, but still have a long way yet to go. :la:

That's a pretty awesome sounding name! :D The myths and legends of other cultures are so cool! I wish they were used more often in current literature and media sources :dummy:
